2010 Programs During 2008/2009 more than 3000 children enjoyed learning and creating at the Forest as part of BHP Billiton Nickel West sponsored activity days. Activity days are varied program from all curriculum areas. Activity days will once again run during terms 2 and 3 of 2010, book early to be part of this wonderful experience. It is planned that over 3000 native seedlings will be planted as part of these activity days. During 2010 we once again will be holding exciting night stalks at the forest on the hunt for bats, scorpions and other creatures of the night. During National Science Week we will be holding a Bird and Frog ramble, and the Great Dinosaur Dig. Plus our annual music in the forest will be held again during October. These events are being proudly sponsored by BHP Billiton Nickel West, National Science Week and a Federal NRM Caring for Country grant.
